Job Description
The Milton Brisbane is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team on a full-time basis.
The Housekeeping Supervisor will lead, train, and develop the housekeeping team, assisting in managing all housekeeping operations for the property to ensure high standards of cleanliness in rooms, public spaces, and common areas.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Ensure high standards of cleanliness throughout the property in rooms, public spaces, and common areas.
Build and maintain professional relationships with housekeeping staff, clients, and contractors.
Supervise, train, and guide housekeeping team members, promoting continuous improvement in standards and service quality.
Support the team in delivering exceptional cleaning services to ensure guest satisfaction.
Oversee daily on-the-job training for cleaning staff to enhance skills and efficiency.
Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, maintenance activities, and inventory levels.
Hourly Rates:
Monday - Friday: $32.25/hour + super
Saturday: $38.70/hour + super
Sunday: $45.15/hour + super
Qualifications
Experience supervising a housekeeping team.
Experience managing budgets, supplies, replacements, and consumables.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures and set cleanliness standards.
Leadership skills to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
Availability to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
Previous experience in a similar role is highly regarded.
