About the role
Gold Buyers Central is one of the largest jewellery and precious metals recyclers in Australia and we are 100% Aussie owned. We are looking for well‐presented & driven individuals with excellent communication, a positive outlook and sales or customer service experience preferred. The role has a strong marketing focus and so experience in marketing or promotional work will be highly regarded but not essential. Applicants must be available to work a flexible 7‐day roster. Flexible hours from 15 to 37.5 hours a week available. Full on‐the‐job training provided.

Responsibilities
* Test and evaluate customers' jewellery and precious metal items and exchange them for cash on the spot.
* Provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean and secure retail environment.
* Promote products and services to maximise sales opportunities.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory and risk management standards.
Qualifications
* Minimum age 18 years.
* Excellent communication skills and a positive outlook.
* Sales or customer service experience preferred.
* Experience in marketing or promotional work highly regarded.
* Ability to work a flexible 7‐day roster; 15–37.5 hours a week.
* No criminal history; a police clearance is required for successful applicants.
