Key Responsibilities: You will work closely with the Retail Channel Lead to strategise, develop, and execute sales initiatives that drive incremental business outcomes and deliver an outstanding Apple customer experience. The role involves establishing and maintaining strong relationships with senior representatives of relevant multi-brand retail partners, including retailers, distributors, and online partners. Your goal is to develop partner sales efficiency and maximise Apple product sales to end-users.
You will develop and manage reliable forecasts, ensuring disciplined use of Apple sales forecasting tools and processes. Regular performance and planning reviews with channel partners are essential. The role requires collaboration, simplicity, and a passion for achieving great outcomes for all stakeholders.
In planning, you will agree on quarterly marketing and in-store/online activities to meet weekly sell-through targets. Ensure POS forecasts from partners are reliable and understand weekly variances. Work closely with Reseller Operations to forecast and influence product supply, aiming to meet and exceed sales forecasts. Provide input to quarterly channel marketing activities and in-store programs.
Develop strong working relationships with a broad virtual team across operations, sales, marketing, business development, and strategy. Implement planogram programs with in-store managers as prescribed by Apple. Be comfortable in both strategic planning and detailed execution to see how all elements connect. Collaborate with the Apple training team to ensure partner sales staff are well-trained, insightful, and confident in selling Apple products and the ecosystem. Understand the market and store environments deeply, sharing insights and spending time in-store. Always represent the Apple brand at the highest level.
Minimum Qualifications
* Channel management and retail sales experience preferred (at least 8 years).
* Proven track record of achieving ambitious growth targets.
* Experience with merchandising plans.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in online retail industry is a plus.
* Professional manner, maturity, and excellent customer and partner skills.
* Forecasting, quota management, and partner management skills.
* Strong business acumen and ability to engage with senior management.
* Passion, personal drive, and a good sense of humour.
* Willingness to learn and a positive attitude.
* Ability to handle ambiguity effectively.
* Sophisticated communication skills, including proficiency in English.
* Track record of following through on commitments.
