We are seeking to establish a pool of Primary Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 2, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
The Role
Cooinda Primary School is seeking Primary Teachers who will ideally have exceptional interpersonal skills, a natural ability to communicate effectively and foster genuine relationships with parents, students, and colleagues. As a Primary Teacher, you would promptly establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment, setting high expectations and cultivating a growth mindset, while nurturing students' social and emotional development.
We are looking for applicants who can exhibit exemplary teaching skills, with a strong motivation to excel, and a commitment to delivering best practices. The capacity to excel in an environment characterised by whole‐school connected practice, collaborative team structures, and a commitment to ongoing professional growth is highly valued.
As members of our team, you would ideally leverage high‐impact teaching strategies and showcase experience in designing and delivering engaging literacy and numeracy programmes. An understanding of differentiation to meet diverse student needs is highly valued, along with proficiency in utilising various assessment tools to inform progress, provide constructive feedback, and guide future classroom planning.

Eligibility
* hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration
* be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment
* apply for a WA Working with Children Check before you start; and
* consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start
