With over 85 years of tangible impact, we have carved out our place as a leader in water infrastructure across Australia and New Zealand. Your expertise and dedication will play a pivotal role in our continued success and be a driving force in our journey towards a water resilient world.
The Opportunity
As the Training Manager, you will play a pivotal role in building and sustaining a capable, compliant and future ready workforce. This is a hands on leadership opportunity where you will shape how technical capability, safety and compliance are embedded into day to day operations, ensuring our people have the right skills, certifications and practical experience to deliver work safely.
You will design and manage clear competency pathways, oversee mandatory licences and tickets and lead the development and delivery of field based training, verification of competency and induction programs. Working closely with operational leaders and other stakeholders, you will translate work methods, SOPs, OEM requirements into effective, practical learning solutions that uplift capability and reduce operational risk.
This role is central to continuous improvement. You will capture lessons learned from operations, near misses and quality issues and embed them into training updates and controls. You will also lead a small training team, maintain training systems and matrices and provide clear reporting and insights that link training outcomes to safety, quality and productivity performance.
