Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for Trade Assistants and Qualified Carpenters located in Fraser Coast, QLD.
Responsibilities include supporting construction activities, operating power tools effectively, assisting carpenters and other trades, maintaining safety standards, and delivering high-quality workmanship.
The role involves collaboration with team members and communication with clients to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Qualifications
Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities
Customer service skills, with a focus on client satisfaction
Experience and proficiency in using power tools
Basic to advanced knowledge of trade work, ideally with hands-on experience in carpentry or construction
Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to regulations
Team-oriented mindset and ability to work collaboratively on-site
Relevant trade certificates or qualifications for carpenters (preferred, but not essential for Trade Assistants)
Driver's license and ability to travel within the Fraser Coast region as needed
Previous experience in the construction or maintenance industry is an advantage
