About the role
This role is primarily working in commercial installations and occasional domestic jobs so your day won't be filled with cleaning filters. Tasks & Responsibilities
* Installation and Setup: Installing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in commercial buildings, including large‑scale equipment like rooftop units or chillers.
* Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance, including cleaning, lubricating, and checking components to ensure systems are operating efficiently and within safety standards.
* Repairs: Diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems, addressing issues with compressors, thermostats, motors, refrigerants, and other components.
* System Inspections: Conducting inspections to assess system performance, ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety regulations.
* Troubleshooting and Upgrades: Identifying system malfunctions, troubleshooting problems, and recommending system upgrades or replacements for efficiency and cost‑effectiveness.
Skills & Experience
* At least 3‑4 years' experience
* Experience in commercial installations
* Self‑starter, can work confidently alone
* Prompt, reliable with a positive attitude
* Strong OH&S focus
