The Role
The Account Manager works with the core sales and pre-sales teams, as the subject matter expert. In this position, you will find yourself growing Hardware revenue in your assigned territory, which will see you engage directly with clients and marshal all available vendor resources and support to deliver results.
Key Responsibilities:
* Achieve hardware sales target for your assigned territory.
* Provide hardware expertise when working with the sales, and professional service teams on RFP/RFI response.
* Co-ordinate internal & external stakeholders (sales, pre-sales, delivery, distributors, vendors, etc) to deliver required customer outcomes.
* Managing day to day hardware enquiries for assigned clients.
* Help develop opportunities with existing clients and new prospects within territory.
* Ensure the territory sales & presales teams are kept apprised of the latest vendor offerings and features.
* All commercial queries, quotes, ETA & order queries.
* Proactively managing renewals for assigned clients.
What skills and experience you bring:
* Demonstrated experience selling hardware solutions.
* Familiarity with hardware vendors & distribution partners and experience selling solutions to Australian based customers.
* Self-motivated, task-focused, able to use your own initiative and work autonomously and as part of a team.
* Manage time effectively and be able to prioritise to meet deadlines.
* Delivery of consistent and exceptional customer service experience.
* Professional presentation and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
