About the role
As a Guest Service Agent at the Quality Hotel City Centre in Coffs Harbour, NSW, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming experience for our hotel guests. This casual position offers flexibility and the opportunity to work in a dynamic hospitality environment. Must be available to work early mornings from 7am and evenings. Applicants with a work visa are welcome to apply if here for a minimum of 6 months. >
What you'll be doing
* Greet and assist guests at the front desk in a friendly and professional manner
* Check guests in and out efficiently and provide a seamless check-in/check-out experience
* Handle guest inquiries, requests and complaints in a timely and courteous manner
* Process payments, cash handling and maintain accurate records
* Provide information about the hotel's facilities, local area and attractions
* Liaise with other hotel departments to ensure guest needs are met
* Contribute to the overall cleanliness and presentation of the hotel
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role
* Minimum of 1+ years hospitality or customer service experience required
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
* Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
* Proficient in using hotel management software and computer systems
* A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
* Prior hotel front desk or reception experience preferred but not essential
