Job Overview:
Urgent care is a dynamic environment where clinical staff work together to deliver exceptional patient outcomes. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced setting.
* You will assess and triage patients, identifying clinical priorities quickly and safely.
* Conduct thorough assessments and develop appropriate care plans, escalating concerns when necessary.
* Respond promptly to patients who are deteriorating or require immediate intervention.
* Perform various clinical procedures, such as wound care, suturing, plastering, and immobilization.
* Work confidently in a rapidly changing environment where patient needs vary throughout the day.
* Provide clear education, support, and guidance to patients and families.
* Maintain accurate clinical documentation to support continuity of care.
Requirements:
* Registered Paramedic with AHPRA certification.
* Ability to work a rotating roster, including evenings and weekends.
* Current Working with Children Check and National Police Check (or ability to obtain).
* Previous experience in emergency, urgent care, remote, or acute clinical practice (minimum 1 year preferred).
* Sound clinical judgment and confidence in recognizing patient deterioration.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work autonomously when needed.
