Men's Behaviour Therapist Role
Our organisation is seeking a skilled Men's Behaviour Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals, couples, children and families, providing trauma-informed, evidence-based and psycho-educational interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide specialised counselling and/or case management services to clients, conducting thorough assessments and developing effective intervention plans.
* Facilitate the delivery of group programmes for clients, utilising psycho-educational and therapeutic approaches.
* Maintain accurate records of client interactions, referrals and outcomes, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in social work, casework, psychology, counselling or community services.
* Membership of a relevant professional association, such as ACA, PACFA or AASW.
* Demonstrated experience and skills in individual and group facilitation, particularly with those experiencing domestic violence.
* Ability to work independently, take initiative and manage a high-volume caseload.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
