Following council’s recent organisational realignment, an exciting opportunity exists for a manager assets and property to lead the newly established assets and property team. This role oversees council’s asset, fleet, property and natural environment portfolios, including coastal management, and drives strategic asset planning, capital programs and long-term financial sustainability. You will provide expert advice across the organisation while leading a high-performing team delivering strong community outcomes.
To be successful in this role you will need Qualifications Essential
* Degree in engineering, asset management, infrastructure planning, environmental management, property or related discipline
* Current Victorian driver licence
* Current employee working with children check
Experience
* Significant experience in asset management or infrastructure planning
* Demonstrated experience in leading teams and managing complex service areas
Key selection criteria 1
Proven experience leading strategic asset management and long-term capital planning
Key selection criteria 2
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
Key selection criteria 3
Strong financial and analytical capability to inform asset investment decisions
Key selection criteria 4
Experience delivering asset or infrastructure outcomes in a complex organisation
