We are seeking passionate qualified teachers for Kimberley Calling – a CEWA initiative inviting you to empower students in WA's outback communities, including Broome and 13 school destinations. CEWA welcomes both Catholic and Non-Catholic candidates.
Successful applicants require a university degree (or equivalent) in Education and registration with the TRBWA, with availability for long-term contracts (12+ months) or relief contracts between 5 to 10 weeks of a school term.
Base pay range
A$97,319.00/yr - A$163,371.00/yr
Benefits
Relocation travel from any major Australian city including flights, goods transportation and vehicle transportation paid by CEWA
Housing provided by CEWA at capped low percentage of salary or completely free (depending on destination)
Location allowance paid per fortnight
Regional annual bonus (pro rata for term-by-term work)
Air conditioning reimbursement paid per fortnight
Electricity cover for higher than average costs
Accelerated long service leave accrual at twice the standard rate
Christmas break flights back to Perth (after 12 months of service)
Two mid-year break chartered plane flights annually to remote Eastern desert schools
Friday early classroom finish at 12:30pm (selected desert schools)
Additional accrued leave to extend long weekends (selected desert schools)
Salary packaging through not-for-profit status

$88,785 - $132,585 per annum + Superannuation 11%
Annual bonus $5,000 - $20,000
Location allowance $3,534 - $10,786 per annum
