Burger Urge has been serving up delicious, juicy burgers for over 18 years. We believe burgers should be done right—using premium local ingredients to deliver both classic favorites and on‐trend creations. We're a fast‐growing restaurant group and are preparing to launch an exciting new venue in Ripley.
We're looking for an experienced, hands‐on Assistant Venue Manager to help lead the opening team, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and build a positive, high‐performing team culture from day one. We're not looking for a clipboard manager. We want someone who thrives on the floor creating memorable guest experiences.

The Role
As Assistant Venue Manager, you will work closely with the Venue Manager to support all aspects of restaurant operations, including:
* Leading and developing a high‐performing team
* Delivering exceptional customer service and guest experiences
* Ensuring food safety and compliance standards are maintained
* Inventory management and stock control
* Rostering and shift coverage
* Supporting financial and operational performance
* Implementing marketing and promotional initiatives
* Maintaining a clean, organized and high‐standard venue
You will play a key role in setting the tone on shift, motivating the team, and helping create an energetic and welcoming environment for both staff and guests.

What We're Looking For
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a management or supervisory hospitality role
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service
* Ability to thrive in a fast‐paced restaurant environment
* Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
* Current RSA certification (or willingness to obtain)
* Current First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
* Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
* A positive, motivated and solutions‐focused attitude
