Job Description
We're currently looking for a motivated and experienced Nurse Unit Manager to lead our Adult Mixed Specialty Unit (Ward 1B) to drive clinical excellence at St Vincent's Private Hospital Northside. This is a rare opportunity to showcase your leadership abilities in an acute private hospital setting, overseeing the day‐to‐day operations of a busy Medical/Surgical ward, to empower and mentor nursing staff and to champion clinical excellence, safety and our patient experience – where compassion, excellence, justice and integrity is at the heart of everything we do.

Things that work for us
* Registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) as a Registered Nurse
* Recent experience as a Nurse Unit Manager in ideally, a private acute hospital setting
* Experience in mentoring and leading large teams
* Demonstrated achievement of organisational targets, in resource management, budgeting and workforce planning
* Experience providing advanced clinical care consistent with our mission and philosophy of our hospital
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
About Us
At St Vincent's Private Hospital Northside, we have over 1,000 dedicated and skilled staff who treat nearly 35,000 people a year, delivering safe and high‐quality care to all our patients. Our hospital has 227 beds, 9 operating theatres, 2 cardiac catheter laboratories, a 17‐bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Day Oncology Unit, Breast Health Centre, Endoscopy Unit, Cardiac Rehabilitation Unit and a 24‐hour, private emergency centre provided by Brisbane Northside Emergency.
