Job Description

What you’ll do:
We are seeking a skilled Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team at Pumphouse Point on a full-time basis. You’ll be working to enhance the food & beverage experience for our guests. You'll support your Team to ensure the day-to-day operation is of the highest standard.
Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the Highland buffet breakfast, in-room larder picnic style lunch and three course dinners hosted in the dining room. You'll look for opportunities to enhance the guest experience through showcasing local Tasmanian product and upskilling your Team.
You will curate and manage a range of specialised tasting events and experiences for our guests, including wine, cocktail, and whiskey tastings. A keen interest and extensive knowledge in this field are essential!
What you’ll bring:
* Strong food and beverage leadership experience
* A reputation for providing excellent customer service, engaging in great conversations with our guests
* A vibrant attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a busy team
* Ability and passion to build the skills and knowledge of our team through great training, coaching and mentoring
* Knowledge of contemporary food and service trends and culinary styles
* Broad knowledge of wine varieties and appropriate food and wine combinations
* Stock management, ordering and invoicing experience
* Rostering experience
* A current drivers licence and car are essential living in a remote location
