Jimbour State School is seeking a motivated part-time cleaner to contribute to the efficient and effective operation and environment of the school by providing a high level of cleaning to our small school.
This position is being offered in a Temporary Part-Time capacity (0.40FTE), 30 hours per fortnight, with flexible scheduling across the school week as approved by the principal (maximum of 5 hours per day).
This temporary vacancy is open to Expressions of Interest and any extensions to this appointment will not exceed 12 months.

About The Role
This part-time role involves ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the school by maintaining a high standard of cleanliness across all facilities. The successful candidate will work closely with the Principal or nominated delegate to ensure the school remains a safe and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities Include
Cleaning and sanitising classrooms, toilet facilities, and common areas.
Maintaining and cleaning equipment, including dusting, vacuuming, and floor polishing.
Disposing of rubbish and ensuring litter control across the school grounds.
Activating and deactivating security systems, as well as locking and unlocking buildings.
Liaising with the Principal or Business Manager regarding cleaning supplies and reporting safety or security concerns.
This role would suit a motivated and reliable individual who takes pride in maintaining a clean and safe environment for students and staff.
