We are currently working with an aged care provider that is actively seeking a General Practitioner to fly into Dubbo, NSW, and consult with elderly residents. Due to rural aged care nursing home residents being heavily overlooked in the market, if you are a doctor looking to make a real difference in the community by supporting vulnerable patients, this could be an ideal opportunity for you.
With a $2,000 daily rate and telehealth consultations available during off weeks, this role could be the perfect fit for a doctor seeking work‑life balance.
Role Highlights
* On‑site 4–5 days per week, once a month
* $2,000 per day guaranteed + Flights + Accommodation + Car
* Telehealth available during off weeks (up to 3 weeks per month)
* Hours: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
* Full‑time nurse provided during rounds
* Flexible start date
* Part‑time availability negotiable
Responsibilities
Provide on‑site general practice services to elderly residents in a rural aged care facility.
Conduct telehealth consultations with residents during off weeks.
Work collaboratively with nursing staff to support vulnerable patients.
Requirements
* Specialist Registration with AHPRA
* Fellowship with RACGP or ACRRM
* Aged care experience preferred, but not required
