ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a skilled SharePoint Developer to implement, customize, and integrate solutions within our modern Microsoft SharePoint and Teams environment. This role is highly technical, focusing on solution migration, site creation, and automation using Power Platform and scripting tools, while ensuring adherence to established governance and supporting the environment post-go-live. This is a fully remote position, but the successful candidate must be based within Australia.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Serve as the liaison between senior IT and Business leaders, regularly attending steering committees, and acting as a consultant to business content owners for effective requirements gathering and collaboration strategy.
Execute the migration of automated workflows and digital application components
Power Automate and PowerApps
into the new environment, and migrate existing SharePoint sites and Teams data into the updated platform instance.
Oversee the creation, permission assignment, provisioning, and necessary
customisation
and testing for all new SharePoint sites across the Australian business unit.
Develop and execute the user adoption plan and create comprehensive training materials; lead the uplift and implementation of new SharePoint governance processes, including the re-branding of the entire digital environment.
Handle user and staff queries via the enterprise ticketing system (ServiceNow), create handover documentation, knowledge articles, and user guides, and provide necessary Hypercare support.

Proven experience as a SharePoint Developer, Administrator, or Consultant specializing in modern SharePoint Online implementations.
Technical Proficiency is Mandatory:
Hands-on expertise in
PowerShell
for administration tasks and solution deployment.
Strong development/customization proficiency with
PowerApps and Power Automate
(or Flow) for building integrated business solutions.
Demonstrable expertise in managing complex stakeholder engagement, including presenting to executive levels and driving consensus among business content owners.
Strong understanding of site provisioning, permissions modeling, and customization within SharePoint Online.
Prior experience developing and delivering change management programs, adoption plans, and training materials.
Proficiency in managing and resolving incidents using a major ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow).
Ability to produce high-quality documentation for handover and long-term knowledge retention.
