Cost Management Specialist
This role is designed to lead and manage cost-related activities across a wide range of sectors. Key responsibilities include estimating, planning, and monitoring costs, as well as producing accurate and timely financial reports.
Responsibilities:
* Liaising with clients, architects, and main contractors
* Identifying and facilitating new business opportunities
* Maintaining master-plans and feasibility budgets
* Checking costs of developing designs
* Evaluating tenders and performing analysis
* Managing cash flow projects
* Procurement management
* Cost reporting and evaluation
* Negotiating claims and settlement of disputes
* Analysing investments
* Developing benchmarking processes for improving consistency and accuracy in cost models and plans
A relevant tertiary qualification in quantity surveying, civil engineering, or construction management is required. Additionally, applicants must hold full Australian working rights and be currently located in Australia. Accreditation with RICS/AIQS is highly regarded.
