The role
About the Role

Join our friendly multidisciplinary Community Specialist Clinics team on a full time (1EFT) ongoing basis as an experienced Allied Health Assistant Grade 3. This role is well supported, working under delegation and supervision of Allied Health Practitioners.

  • Provide clinical support to patients within specialist clinics, including supporting group programs and 1:1 therapy programs delegated by the Allied Health team
  • Support Allied Health Professionals with direct and indirect client care and essential clinical administrative tasks
  • Contribute to the smooth operation of clinics, including preparation, coordination, documentation and follow‐up activities
  • Work collaboratively with patients, their families and the multidisciplinary clinic teams to support safe, effective and person‐centred care
  • Provide clinical leadership within the Allied Health Assistant team and actively contribute to AHA service development and quality improvement initiatives
About You
  • Pro‐active, patient‐centered attitude
  • Enthusiasm for multidisciplinary teamwork
  • Ambition to grow your skills, expand your knowledge and develop others
  • Certificate IV Allied Health Assistance
  • A minimum of three years' experience as an Allied Health Assistant (AHA), working in a public health care setting is preferable
  • Eligibility for membership of AHANA as a Practicing Member (Certified)
  • In addition to the Certificate IV above, other tertiary qualifications relevant to the role will be well regarded
  • A current Australian Drivers Licence
