Overview
Clinical Trial Coordinator, Medical Oncology – 12-month, Full time contract at Ingham Institute for Applied Medical Research. The Clinical Trial Coordinator will work with Medical Oncologists in support of cancer clinical trials and will assist with research activities of the Medical Oncology Department, including the evaluation and recruitment of eligible participants to clinical trials, implementing and monitoring study protocols and documentation associated with the studies/trials.

Responsibilities
- Support cancer clinical trials in collaboration with Medical Oncologists.
- Assist with evaluation and recruitment of eligible participants to clinical trials and research studies.
- Implement and monitor study protocols and maintain documentation related to studies/trials.
- Collaborate with stakeholders in a research environment and ensure adherence to SOPs and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- A degree in health science or nursing.
- Highly developed project planning, coordination, organisation and time management skills.
- Proven ability to identify problems, make recommendations and implement appropriate solutions in the research environment.
- Strong communication and organisation skills.
- High level interpersonal skills and ability to work strategically with key stakeholders in a research environment.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication and consultation skills.
- High level computing skills, including databases, electronic data entry, word processing and spreadsheets.
Desirable Criteria
- Previous experience in sponsored clinical trials.
- Knowledge of clinical research practices, ethical obligations, ICH and Good Clinical Practice.
- Ability and willingness to travel to conferences and investigator meetings.
- Ability to maintain high work standards with minimum supervision and ensure team members follow SOPs.
- Flexibility in work hours as required.
