Cyber Security Systems Engineer Role
We are seeking a skilled Cyber Security Systems Engineer to design and implement secure systems for complex projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Security Documentation: Develop and maintain security Assessment and Authorisation (A&A) documentation to ensure compliance with engineering standards and project requirements.
* Threat and Risk Assessments: Conduct threat and risk assessments, identify and recommend treatment controls and mitigation strategies to safeguard our systems.
* Collaboration: Participate in security working groups at Product and/or Project levels with internal and external stakeholders to drive secure system development.
* System Testing: Provide input to and review the development of system tests and analysis that verify system security controls.
This role requires a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, protocols, and architectures. You should have experience with software development, computer networks, and embedded software systems. Tertiary qualifications in systems/software engineering, computer science, or a related technical discipline are essential.
Requirements:
* Cybersecurity Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, OSCP, GIAC are highly valued.
* Knowledge and Skills: Familiarity with contemporary security engineering processes, standards, principles, and best practices, particularly PSPF, DSPF, and ISM. Knowledge of complex systems or related defence technologies is desirable.
