We are seeking a skilled and motivated Specialist IT Support Technician to join our dynamic team at Blackwater Mine.
Reporting to the Supervisor OT Site Operations, this role is critical in providing advanced IT support to ensure seamless on-site performance.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and troubleshooting IT infrastructure, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and supporting the integration of IT and OT systems in a demanding, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide first-line support for hardware, software, networking, and remote access issues.
Resolve incidents and service requests within defined KPIs using the Fresh Service ticket system.
Monitor and maintain the health of servers, backup operations, and data integrity.
Ensure compliance with local legislation and corporate IT policies.
Manage asset refresh cycles, hardware upgrades, and software deployments.
Partner with local, regional, and global IT teams to align on best practices and project initiatives.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and recommend process improvements.
Provide basic IT training to users and support adoption of global applications.
Provide on-site support for the installation, configuration, and deployment of new technology solutions.
Collaborate with the IT support team to ensure consistent service delivery and knowledge sharing.
Troubleshoot and resolve intermediate networking issues with expertise.
Skills & Qualifications:
Strong problem-solving and interpersonal communication skills.
Familiarity with Cisco switching, SOTI, Power Automate, and Azure is a plus.
Certifications such as ITIL, CCNA, or Microsoft-specific tools are advantageous.
Strong technical skills and knowledge of hardware, software, and networking technologies.
Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
A positive, proactive, and adaptable approach to work.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Unifi, ConnectWise, and Windows Server.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
