Job Summary
This role is for a highly skilled Senior Occupational Therapist to deliver expert clinical occupational therapy services to children in need. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic team environment, providing supervision and education programs to staff and students.
Main Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-level clinical care with a focus on complex cases involving children.
* Supervise and educate Level 1 and 2 staff, Allied Health Assistants, and students to enhance their skills and knowledge.
* Offer consultative services to local clinicians to promote quality and safety of services.
* Cultivate opportunities for improvement in clinical practice and research through ongoing quality improvement activities.
* Contribute to planning, implementation, evaluation, and reporting of services to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
* Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to support service delivery within the health district.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Possess advanced clinical reasoning skills in occupational therapy.
* Have experience supervising staff and providing clinical supervision and education.
* Be able to contribute to planning, evaluation, and continuous improvement activities.
