Your role

The Senior Business Analyst is a key member of the Evidence and Strategy – Early Intervention team, which is responsible for developing and managing the evidence base for DCJ's early intervention programs. This role supports the team's objectives by designing tools to enhance data collection, leveraging platforms such as Qualtrics to capture and analyse client experience, and generating insights to inform program and policy development.

Your role

The Senior Business Analyst is a key member of the Evidence and Strategy – Early Intervention team, which is responsible for developing and managing the evidence base for DCJ's early intervention programs. This role supports the team's objectives by designing tools to enhance data collection, leveraging platforms such as Qualtrics to capture and analyse client experience, and generating insights to inform program and policy development.

In addition, the Senior Business Analyst plays a strategic role by responding to data requests and preparing briefs, policy papers, and discussion documents for the Minister, Cabinet, and the Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ).

What You'll Do

The Senior Business Analyst will play a key role in supporting the Evidence and Strategy, Early Intervention team by:


* Designing tools to improve data collection that will inform policy and program development.
* Using Qualtrics to capture and analyse client experience data, providing insights to support program refinement.
* Responding to requests for program-related data and analysis.
* Conducting research and preparing advice, including briefs, policy papers, and discussion documents, in response to requests from the Minister, Cabinet, or the Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ).

The Evidence and Strategy, Early Intervention team is responsible for managing and enhancing the evidence base and program design for DCJ's early intervention initiatives, including Targeted Earlier Intervention (TEI) and Family Connect and Support (FCS). The team also maintains strategic partnerships across DCJ and the broader sector.

This is a hybrid role, with an expectation of working from the Parramatta office approximately 50% of the time.

What We're Looking For

In addition to the essential requirements listed in the role description, the ideal candidate will have:
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft suite of programs, especially excel.
* Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience in lieu.
* Advanced data analysis skills.
* Knowledge of Qualtrics.
