Where you'll be working
You'll be working for Southcare, Aged and Extended Community Care, which is based at The Sutherland Hospital. Southcare hosts a large number of clinical teams that work in the community to support people to live independently at home.

The Role
We are seeking a highly organised individual with demonstrated experience in medical administration or busy clinical environments. The successful applicant will have the ability to manage a wide range of responsibilities, including complex document preparation, report generation, billing, and transcription, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Must be available to work Mondays.
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to lead or coordinate workflows where required. Proficiency in hospital systems such as eMR, iPM, and PBRC is required, and familiarity with Fluency for Transcription will be highly regarded.
This role offers the chance to provide high-level secretarial and administrative support to the Medical Director of Aged and Extended Care, Geriatricians, and Registrars while playing a key role in the effective coordination and delivery of specialist medical clinics.

Selection Criteria
* Demonstrated high level of organisational skills and ability to complete work in the area of designated responsibility
* Demonstrated administration experience in a medical environment or a busy clinical setting
* Ability to write, type, and generate reports, documents, billing statistics, and correspondence, including complex correspondence for senior medical staff, accurately, clearly, and in a timely manner
* Demonstrated ability to carry out a variety of functions which may be complex in nature and require judgement in selecting and applying established principles, techniques (e.g., IT systems), and methods (Fluency Transcription Service).
* Demonstrated interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
* Effective computer skills (with accurate keyboard/data entry skills).
* Demonstrated knowledge of hospital databases including eMR, iPM, PBRC. Knowledge of Fluency Transcription service and Microsoft Office suite.
