Position Overview

Reporting to the Regional Sales Director of ANZ and South Asia, the Sr. Sales Executive, Data Security Solutions will be responsible for hands‑on strategic account selling to drive sales of the company's full data security solutions portfolio within the ANZ region. The role focuses on acquiring net new business and expanding existing enterprise accounts to optimize profitable revenue growth, client engagement and satisfaction, pipeline development, and accurate sales forecasting.

The successful applicant will create and deploy strategies to develop a pipeline of new business opportunities throughout the designated territories and will be responsible for identifying, engaging, managing, and closing opportunities. This role is not about just selling more product to the accounts. It is about evolving the team to develop, embrace and execute at the highest level in assigned accounts, selling more strategic and complex solutions.


Responsibilities

Strategic Accounts Selling (85%)

* Develop the client engagement strategy, acting as regional expert on Entrust's Digital Security portfolio—including Cryptography Security Solutions, PKI, and HSM—and provide competitive knowledge and industry expertise for Entrust solutions.
* Develop relationships with appropriate decision makers—up to and including C‑level contacts—to influence strategies related to Digital Security.
* Deliver value proposition messaging to prospects within the territories.
* Listen to and interpret customer requirements, build knowledge of customer challenges, and propose technical solutions that directly apply to customer needs; leverage Technical Sales Consultants and Solution Centre's of Excellence as needed.
* Develop strategies to partner with the Account Management Team to grow and expand within existing accounts.

Sales Business Development (15%)

* Execute effective business plans and conduct regular reviews to ensure performance against plan and strategic imperatives.
* Key measures of success include meeting or exceeding targets for sales revenue, sales profit, and improving client satisfaction.
* Provide competitive account and market intelligence as well as voice‑of‑customer information to product marketing and management to help define market requirements for future solution road‑mapping.


Required Qualifications

* Minimum 8–10 years of quota‑carrying IT Enterprise sales experience, with at least 3 years in IT security, data protection, or enterprise solutions domain.
* Bachelor's degree in business or another relevant field.
* Experience working with a CRM system, such as SalesForce.com.
* Strong business acumen and financial analysis skills.
* Ability to work under pressure, manage priorities while meeting deadlines.
* Excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Excellent organizational and follow‑up skills.
* Candidate should be based in ANZ.
* Regular travel to responsible territories within ANZ and occasional travel to other countries upon company requests.


Preferred Qualifications

* Experience selling cloud or as‑a‑service based IT solutions.
* Ability to work cross‑functionally at both senior and individual contributor levels.
* Experience in a leadership role within a large multinational company highly desirable.
* Experience managing both local & remote team members in a complex matrix environment.
