The Firm:
A well-established local firm is expanding and looking to add an Intermediate or Senior Accountant to its Business Advisory and Tax division. This opportunity is ideal for someone with 3+ years' experience in an Australian public practice environment who's eager to step into a role with real responsibility and clear progression pathways.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and support a varied client base across multiple industries
* Preparation of BAS, IAS and payroll tax obligations
* Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns, including CGT, Div 7A and trust distributions
* Business advisory and client consulting (senior level)
* Direct correspondence with the ATO and other regulatory bodies
* End-to-end management of client engagements, ensuring deadlines and compliance requirements are met
* Build trusted client relationships through proactive communication and high-quality service
Requirements:
* 3+ years' practical experience within an Australian accounting practice
* CA or CPA qualified, or actively working towards completion
* Exposure to a broad range of clients and entity structures
* Strong attention to detail with sound technical knowledge
* Confident communicator with a collaborative mindset
