You are an experienced leader with a background in manufacturing or associated heavy industry. You will be skilled in robust safety practices, building strong internal and external relationships, responding to frequent changes in priorities and have a solution-oriented mindset.
What you will bring
* Proven people leader with strong, authentic and accountable leadership style
* Extensive experience in manufacturing operations, production, and planning
* Strong knowledge of safety systems, hazard identification, and building a positive safety culture
* Demonstrated ability to lead large teams, with solid skills in problem-solving, conflict resolution, and people management
* Experience implementing lean systems and driving continuous process improvement
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer systems; steel reinforcing and unionized workforce experience advantageous
