About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Yard Truck Driver to join our transport team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating a yard truck, coordinating trailer positioning for loading and unloading, and working closely with yard supervisors and dock staff.
Key Responsibilities
* Safely operate a yard truck to shunt trailers within the yard
* Coordinate trailer positioning for efficient loading and unloading
* Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to site procedures
* Collaborate with yard supervisors and dock staff to ensure smooth operations
* Perform general yard duties as required
Requirements
* A valid MC Licence is essential for this role
* Previous experience in a transport yard or similar environment is highly advantageous
* Strong focus on safety and a reliable work ethic are crucial for success
* The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team is necessary
* Availability for 12pm-9pm shift is preferred
