Fixed Term / Full Time (Until December ****)Monday to Friday, 76 hours per fortnight, 9 day fortnight$70,087 per annum (LGIA Stream B Level 2 Site Allowance) + SuperannuationLocation – RockhamptonYour new roleWe are seeking motivated and experienced Traffic Controllers to join our civil operations team and play a vital role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our worksites.
As a Traffic Controller, you will be out on-site managing the flow of vehicles and pedestrians, setting up and inspecting traffic signs, barriers, and devices to confirm they are in proper working order, and making sure all safety measures are in place.You will conduct pre-site inspections to verify that signage is correctly positioned, follow traffic management plans and relevant legislation, and maintain accurate records of daily activities.
Your role will be critical in protecting both the public and your fellow crew members, while also assisting with a variety of construction and maintenance tasks when required.This is a hands on position where no two days are the same, offering the opportunity to work outdoors, contribute to important civil projects, and be part of a supportive, hardworking team.
