We are seeking a skilled Industrial Process Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will work on projects focused on introducing new hot forging capabilities into existing manufacturing processes.

The ideal candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications in Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields, with experience in manufacturing processes. Forging experience is beneficial.

* Key Responsibilities:
* Ensuring manufacturing processes fully address industrial constraints leading up to production launch.
* Providing ongoing support for the manufacturing of munitions for both defence and commercial purposes.
* Establishing and operating new manufacturing equipment.
* Evaluating material suitability, performance, and properties for product development.
* Conducting root cause analysis of product defects and implementing corrective actions.
* Implementing and upholding HSE management system requirements.
* Championing Continuous Improvement initiatives.
* Frequent travel to our Benalla site may be required.

Requirements:

* Rlevant tertiary qualifications in Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
* Experience in manufacturing processes, preferably with forging experience.
* Knowledge of materials engineering, heat treatment, and welding specifications.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to collaborate with Methods and Technology departments.
* Eligibility for Australian Defence Clearances (NV1).
