Job Title: Assistant Director, Digital Publishing
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Assistant Director, Digital Publishing to lead our digital publishing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing our website and content management framework of governance, policies and procedures.
About the Opportunity:
* The ideal candidate will have experience in leading and managing a team responsible for digital content management, including establishing expectations, scheduling and reviewing work.
* They will also have the ability to support, mentor and coach members of the team to develop their capability.
Key Responsibilities:
1. The Assistant Director, Digital Publishing will collect and analyse information and data to assess risks and opportunities in content management.
2. They will assist in the preparation of reports for senior management that effectively communicate updates and provide evidence-based recommendations for managing content.
3. The successful candidate will collaborate across teams to understand content challenges and priorities for staff and to influence content management practices aligned with policy and procedures.
4. They will continuously improve the way content is managed, including through procedures, technology solutions for improved staff access to controlled content and to support better management of content.
Requirements:
* The ideal candidate must have demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and develop a team.
* They must have technical knowledge and experience in content management and strategic content creation, including the ability to provide guidance to others.
* The Assistant Director, Digital Publishing must be able to identify and propose improvements to systems, processes, communications and/or timeliness.
* They must be able to develop and implement work plans, set work area priorities and evaluate outputs.
