Store Person | Regional QLD
About the role
Civeo is looking for multiple Store Person positions to be filled within our Regional Queensland villages located throughout the Bowen Basin, with 5:2 and 14:7 rosters available.
Store people play a critical part in our village operations, supporting primarily the catering and housekeeping departments in the receipt, recording, storing and distribution of perishable and non-perishable goods.
These roles are offered on a permanent full-time basis.
Key responsibilities
* Receive deliveries, ensuring the delivery dockets align with what we are receiving.
* Operation of Forklift to unload delivery trucks.
* Store goods in appropriate areas, ensuring adherence to safety and quality controls.
* Ensure stock rotation is up to date, including management and minimisation of out of date stock.
* Redistribute goods throughout the village as required operationally.
* Invoice management including receiving and entering into Civeo's stock management system.
* Play a critical role in stocktaking process, identifying needs and escalating to management if required.
* Note stock lines to management that are a point of concern.
* Ensure all health and safety policies are strictly met, including forklift operation.
About you
* LF Forklift License and forklift driving experience is essential.
* Australian Drivers License - C Class preferred.
* Full Australian Work Rights - unrestricted and ongoing.
* Experience in similar work, preferably in the hospitality industry.
* Knowledge of stocktake and stock rotation principles.
* Willingness to complete all pre-employment checks, including a National Police Clearance and confidence to pass a Pre-Employment Medical.
