The Opportunity
CORPS are seeking a skilled motivated Surveyor / Lead Surveyor to support our growing portfolio of civil construction projects. This role involves conducting accurate site surveys, managing survey data, and ensuring high standards of quality and compliance on-site. The Lead Surveyor will take on added responsibility for supervision, project coordination, and mentoring of junior staff.

This is a full-time, permanent position, offered as either a residential role in Karratha or FIFO.
Role Requirements
* Conduct detailed site surveys including boundary marking, topographical and as-built surveys.
* Set out works for roads, drainage, earthworks, and other civil infrastructure.
* Operate and maintain surveying equipment including GPS, total stations, and levels.
* Ensure accurate data collections are processed and delivered according to project timelines.
* Prepare and maintain detailed survey reports, drawings, and data records.
* Work closely with engineers, designers, site supervisors, and project managers to interpret and apply survey data
* Interpret plans and specifications and ensuring correct application in fieldwork.
* Identify and resolve discrepancies or potential issues between plans and on-site conditions.
* Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment, ensuring reliability and accuracy.
* Ensure all surveying activities adhere to industry regulations, legal boundaries and project specifications.
Essential Requirements
* Tertiary qualification in Surveying, Geospatial Science, Civil Engineering, or related field.
* Minimum 2-5 years of experience in surveying or civil construction.
* Construction White Card
* Valid drivers licence
* Proficiency with GPS, total stations, and surveying software is preferred (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
* Ability to work outdoors in various conditions, including remote and high-risk environments.
