Senior Project Manager (Microsoft Applications, Cloud, Data & AI) Contract: 6 Months

Role Summary
As a Senior Project Manager you will lead the end‐to‐end delivery of Microsoft technology projects across Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Dynamics 365, Azure cloud, enterprise data platforms, and emerging Copilot AI‐enabled solutions. This role requires strong delivery leadership, structured governance, and the ability to manage multi‐stream technical programs aligned with Microsoft ALM practices.
You will work closely with architects, developers, functional leads, and business stakeholders to ensure secure, scalable, and successful delivery outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver complex projects across Microsoft 365 (SharePoint/Teams), Dynamics 365, Azure cloud, and data platform services (Data Lake, ADF, Synapse, Databricks).
* Manage scope, schedule, budget, RAID, testing cycles, deployment planning, and cutover execution.
* Lead cross‐functional teams including technical specialists, functional consultants, architects, and vendors.
* Oversee delivery of data ingestion, integration, validation, and operational readiness pipelines.
* Apply Microsoft‐aligned ALM practices using Azure DevOps (work items, pipelines, requirements, test management).
* Produce clear, concise status reporting and maintain all required project documentation.
* Coordinate business engagement, requirements shaping, and stakeholder alignment across multiple streams.
* Ensure delivery aligns with enterprise cloud, data governance, and security frameworks.
Required Experience
* Extensive Senior Project Management experience delivering application‐focused, multi‐stream technology projects.
* Proven background delivering Microsoft‐based solutions, including:
o Microsoft 365 / SharePoint Online
o Dynamics 365 (ERP/CRM)
o Azure cloud platforms
o Data platforms (ADF, Synapse, Databricks, Data Lake)
* Experience in consulting or customer‐facing environments, managing multiple concurrent projects.
* Strong communication and relationship‐building skills; able to engage executives, SMEs, and technical teams.
* Comfortable leading delivery in environments that require hands‐on engagement—not a "spreadsheet‐only" PM.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multi‐stream Microsoft implementations with architects, developers, and functional leads.
* PRINCE2 Practitioner or PMP certification - ESSENTIAL.
