The Role
As a key member of our kitchen team, you will:
Prepare and cook breakfast and lunch meals to a consistently high standard
Maintain food safety and hygiene standards
Contribute to seasonal menu development and create enticing specials
Manage daily stock ordering, control stock levels, and minimise waste
Work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment

About You
We're looking for someone who:
Is a qualified chef with 3+ years of experience, ideally in a café or breakfast-focused kitchen
Has strong breakfast cooking skills, with experience handling high volumes
Brings creativity to the menu and a passion for high-quality ingredients
Can manage stock ordering and inventory efficiently
Works well under pressure and enjoys a team-focused environment
Is available for a flexible roster across weekdays and weekends
Experience and knowledge of smoking meats is highly desirable
What We're Looking For
We seek a qualified chef with substantial experience in a high-paced café or breakfast kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a senior kitchen role, with strong knowledge of all kitchen operations. Strong leadership skills, creativity in menu development, and thorough knowledge of food safety and hygiene are essential. Experience in training apprentices and a passion for creating engaging specials will be advantageous. Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster, including weekends, is required, with no late nights or public holidays.
