About the Role

In this role you are providing a memorable check in experience for travelers going to great holiday destinations, people visiting family overseas, or assisting passengers that need mobility support through the airport.

As a Passenger Service Agent at Menzies Aviation, you\'ll play a fundamental role in providing exceptional service to passengers, acting as the front-line representative of our airlines, assisting passengers with various enquiries, providing travel information, and ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience throughout their journey.

A few of the key responsibilities of a Passenger Service agent include:

* Exceptional customer service to passengers – acting as an airline representative
* Process passengers check in documents, validating passports and ensuring visa requirements
* Ensure a safe and on time departure of flights by efficient and friendly service
* Assisting passengers that need mobility support by pushing wheelchairs or guiding passengers
* Available to work 24/7 with a minimum 20 hours a week rostered over 5 days Monday to Sunday. Additional hours may be rostered, or OT may be applied for
* Punctuality and attendance are critical to the success of the team

What you'll bring

* Attention to detail and accurate data entry
* Experience in hospitality, customer service, administration, retail, call centre preferred
* Fitness for pushing passengers needing wheelchair assistance for 1-4 hours every shift.

Recruitment Process

Please be aware that as part of our recruitment process, we may look to use a variety of resourcing tools to help us understand your skills, experience and eligibility in relation to the role, this will include a group interview, assessment, medical fitness check (by a physiotherapist). Please note to work at the airport you will need an ASIC that includes background checks. Due to the training and work hours, we require unlimited right to work in Australia.
