Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing various quantity surveying functions including estimating, planning and cost management, cost monitoring, and accurate and timely financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Liaising with clients, architects and main contractors
* Identifying and facilitating new business opportunities
* Master-plan and feasibility budgets
* Cost checking of developing design
* Tender evaluations and analysis
* Cash flow projects
* Procurement
* Cost reporting
* Evaluation of variations
* Valuations
* Final account reporting
* Claims preparation, presentation, negotiation and settlement of claims
* Investment analysis
* Formulating and implementing benchmarking processes to improve the consistency, accuracy and time to prepare cost models and plans
Requirements:
* Relevant tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or Construction Management
* Full Australian working rights and currently located in Australia
* RICS / AIQS accredited candidates will be highly regarded
* Proficient in the use of Cost X
* Highly motivated with a passion for delivering excellence to clients
