Warehouse Manager (Full Time)
Monday to Friday
8.30am to 4.30pm
Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership
* Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the warehouse.
* Manage the warehouse team, including planning, scheduling, training, and performance management.
* Optimise workflow, workload allocation, and productivity across the facility.
* Ensure incoming product is processed accurately and efficiently according to company procedures.
* Maintain communication with customer service, inventory control, and logistics partners to ensure smooth daily operations.
Warehouse Performance & Continuous Improvement
* Develop, monitor, and improve KPIs, including accuracy, pick rate, order fulfilment, and productivity.
* Lead ongoing improvements to warehouse layout, storage methods, and process flow.
* Implement systems and operational procedures that enhance throughput and reduce cost.
* Drive a Right First-Time culture across all operations.
* Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, service levels, and operational standards annually.
Facilities Ownership
· Responsible for ensuring the warehouse site is properly maintained, clean, safe, compliant, secure and fit for purpose at all times.
· Manage building issues, organising repairs and maintenance, monitoring equipment, maintaining housekeeping standards, and ensuring the site supports efficient day-to-day operations.
Inventory & Quality Control
* Maintain high levels of inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, audits, and stock investigations.
* Monitor quality standards, ensuring all products are presented, packaged, and handled appropriately.
* Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to optimise product preparation and dispatch performance.
Safety, Compliance & Vendor Management
* Implement and uphold all warehouse safety policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
* Ensure the warehouse environment meets organisational, legal, and safety requirements.
Team Development & Stakeholder Collaboration
* Build positive working relationships across departments and external partners.
* Identify training needs and deliver development plans to strengthen team capability.
* Lead weekly operational meetings and communicate performance updates and improvement initiatives.
* Foster a supportive, collaborative, and high-performing team environment.
Skills and Experience required:
Essential
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in Distribution Centre or Warehouse leadership.
* Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, and developing warehouse teams.
* Proven success improving KPIs, productivity, and operational performance.
* Strong communication, organisational, time management, and presentation skills.
* Proactive, flexible, and comfortable working under pressure with shifting priorities.
* Strong IT capability, particularly with Excel and warehouse management systems.
* Analytical thinker with a strong systems mindset and confidence implementing new processes.
* Hands-on management style with a practical approach to problem solving.
* Experience managing people and building a positive, productive team culture.
Desirable
* Degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
* Experience producing operational reports and managing data-driven KPIs.
