Location: Perth/ Brisbane (100% On-site).Estimated Duration: long term- In general, when the project ends, we try to relocate the employee to other projects to ensure continuity.Summary: we are seeking highly skilled Design Engineer Managers to contribute to the design and delivery of iconic infrastructure projects currently in tender and pre-construction phases. These include major sports facilities (e.g., Brisbane Olympic Stadium and related venues), healthcare infrastructure, and airport developments. Successful candidates will join multidisciplinary design teams responsible for developing innovative, buildable, and cost-effective design solutions aligned with the project’s technical, aesthetic, and sustainability goals.Responsibilities:Participate in the design development of large-scale public infrastructure projects, from concept through detailed design.Collaborate with architects, structural and civil engineers, MEP specialists, and construction teams to ensure fully integrated design solutions.Provide technical input during tender phases, including developing design alternatives, constructability assessments, and value engineering proposals.Support the preparation of design documentation, specifications, reports, and presentations for submission to clients and authorities.Ensure compliance with Australian codes, standards, and local authority requirements.Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to resolve technical queries during both design and construction phases.Contribute to risk assessments, design reviews, and digital modelling processes (Revit, BIM, AutoCAD, Tekla, Rhino, etc.).Drive innovation in sustainability, materials, and structural efficiency, particularly for large-span or architecturally complex projects.Mentor junior designers and facilitate knowledge transfer within the design team.Requirements:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent.Demonstrated experience in the design of stadiums, arenas, hospitals, airport facilities, or other complex public buildings.Background in civil, structural, architectural, or building services engineering.Strong knowledge of the Australian Building Code and project delivery processes (Design & Construct, PPP, EPC, etc.).Proficiency in design software such as Revit, Tekla, Rhino, AutoCAD, or equivalent.Excellent communication and coordination skills within multidisciplinary project environments.Working Hours: Monday to Friday- 40 hours weeklyBenefits:Competitive salary + 12% superannuation.Private health insurance is provided.20 days paid annual leave + 10 sick days.Laptop and phone are provided.
