Job Overview
This is a site delivery role requiring DIDO/FIFO or relocation. The successful candidate will be responsible for cost management and financial control of the project.
The HumeLink West project is a new 500kV transmission project connecting Wagga Wagga, Maragle and Bannaby in regional NSW. It includes delivery of new 500kV double circuit transmission lines spanning ~140kms from Wagga Wagga Substation to a new Substation at Gugaa, the Interface Point with HumeLink East near Gundagai and a new substation at Maragle in the Snowy Mountains for future connection to Snowy 2.0.
Key Accountabilities
* Provide strong focus on cost trending and forecasting
* Establish and monitor project baseline budgets
* Produce regular end of month cost reports
* Maintain risk registers to include change impacts
* Monitor and report on cost actuals vs budget
* Liaison with the PCM for compiling and submitting client progress claims
Requirements
* Tertiary qualifications in business, commercial, engineering, finance or similar preferred
* Minimum 5 years practical experience on major infrastructure projects
* Demonstrated experience with cost management tools (excel, SAP, Power Bi, sharepoint, JDE)
* Highly developed communication, negotiation and influencing skills
* Strong conflict resolution skills, coupled with the ability to work independently in a fast paced construction environment
