Role Summary
* Lead a multidisciplinary oncology service and foster collaboration among teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide advanced patient care and guidance in line with best practice standards within oncology.
* Develop, implement, and promote evidence-based standards and policies to enhance service delivery.
* Initiate and evaluate quality improvement and patient safety activities, ensuring high standards of care.
* Participate in the recruitment and training of staff, supporting their professional growth.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Extensive clinical and professional knowledge, particularly in oncology.
* Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide diverse teams.
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex patient needs.
* Familiarity with human resource principles related to nursing practice.
* Knowledge of quality improvement and patient safety principles.
* Experience in research methodologies and best practice applications in healthcare.
