The current mine site locations are in the Northeastern Goldfields of WA, with multiple mining operations both open pit and underground. The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a
Senior Business Analyst
to join our Duketon Operations. The Senior Business Analyst will play a key role in strategic decision making by working collaboratively with our leadership team, delivering high-quality financial and operational analysis across the mining value chain.
This is a site-based role, working on an 8:6 FIFO roster (ex-Perth).

About the Role
* Take ownership of personal safety and that of colleagues through a proactive approach towards behavioural safety, hazard identification and risk management.
* Conduct detailed economic evaluations of mining projects, including NPV, IRR, and sensitivity analysis.
* Perform cost-benefit analysis and scenario modelling to support investment decisions.
* Develop and maintain financial models for existing and prospective mining assets.
* Support strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
* Analyse and optimise the value chain, identifying bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
* Apply Theory of Constraints principles to assess operational constraints and recommend solutions.
* Collaborate with operations, geology, finance, and engineering teams to gather and validate data.
* Prepare and present insightful reports and dashboards to senior leadership.
About You
Desired Skills and Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mining Engineering or related field.
* 7+ years of experience in mining valuation, financial analysis, or business improvement.
* Strong proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and financial modelling tools.
* Knowledge of TOC, Lean, or Six Sigma methodologies.
* CPA, CFA accreditations or equivalent will be an advantage.
* Experience with mining software (Deswik) is desirable.
* Strong communication skills, with a proactive and problem-solving mindset and ability to devise proactive solutions.
* Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for process improvement and problem-solving.
* Current WA class C manual driver's licence.
