Where You'll Be Working

Join a close-knit team of 2 Child and Family Health Nurses (full-time and part-time) covering Inverell, Ashford, Tingha, Bundarra and Delungra. You'll deliver universal services across these welcoming New England communities, providing essential health support to children aged 0-5 and their families through home visits and centre-based clinics.

About The Role

As a Child and Family Health Nurse, you'll conduct universal home health visits, centre-based clinics and immunisations for children 0-5 years, focusing on growth and development, parent-child relationships, guidance and support. Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) at Inverell and supported by a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) in Child and Family Health, you'll build trusting relationships with families while delivering holistic care that makes lasting developmental impact.

About You

You're an organised, friendly Registered Nurse (RN) with effective communication and strong interpersonal skills, ready to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams and apply solid assessment capabilities in family health settings.

You Bring

Current AHPRA Authority to Practice as a Registered NursePostgraduate certificate in Child and Family Health (essential)NSW driver's licence and willingness to travel across sitesImmunisation qualification (can be worked towards)Family Partnership training (can be worked towards)Excellent communication and assessment skillsOrganised, friendly team collaborator

You'll receive comprehensive support from the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM), colleagues and Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS2) in Child and Family Health, ensuring you thrive while making a genuine difference in young family wellbeing across New England communities!
