Maintenance Fitter
Key Responsibilities: As a Maintenance Fitter, you will be responsible for performing preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery. This includes inspecting equipment to prevent breakdowns, identifying and repairing faults or issues that arise during production, and using technical skills and knowledge to diagnose and rectify equipment malfunctions.
* Preventative Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain equipment to ensure smooth operation and prevent costly downtime.
* Reactive Maintenance: Swiftly identify and repair faults or issues that impact production efficiency.
* Fault-Finding: Utilize your technical expertise to diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions, minimizing production disruptions.
Requirements:
- Mechanical Trade Qualification: Hold a Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or equivalent qualification.
- Industry Experience: 3-5 years of post-trade experience, preferably in the food or dairy sectors.
- Compliance Expertise: Possess a strong understanding of WHS and food safety regulations, ensuring compliance in all aspects of work.
- Teamwork and Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent problem-solving and communication skills, working effectively in a team environment to achieve shared goals.
