Randwick High School's foundation year in 2025 marks the beginning of a new era for public education in the Eastern Suburbs area. Founded in a rich heritage of public education, we draw strength in our diverse and engaged learning community. Our school will serve approximately 1500 students in its inaugural year, and celebrates its inclusivity, catering for students of all needs and many cultural backgrounds (including 58% from language backgrounds other than English). Our teachers provide a wealth of rich learning experiences to engage all students in extending their potential and pursuing their passions. Responsibilities
* Design, implement and evaluate quality Food Technology programs and resources that meet a diverse range of student needs and foster high expectations.
* Manage classroom and practical workspaces to ensure student safety, participation and engagement in lessons.
* Collaborate with colleagues to foster positive relationships and a supportive learning culture within the school community.
* Communicate effectively with students, parents and other stakeholders to support learning outcomes.
Qualifications
* Unconditional full approval to teach Food Technology is required. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you must commence the application process concurrently with this opportunity.
* Proven ability in classroom management and capacity to manage practical workspaces to ensure student safety, participation and engagement in lessons to enhance student learning opportunities.
* Capacity to design and implement quality programs and resources that foster a culture of high expectations for a diverse range of student needs.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively to foster positive relationships and a supportive learning culture within the school community.
