Job Description
Ability Action Australia provides support to over 10,000 NDIS participants each year. This role involves delivering therapeutic services to participants across the Newcastle, Hunter and Maitland region in settings such as childcare centres, schools, aged care facilities, day programs, community, homes, and our clinic.
Responsibilities
* Manage an allocated caseload and deliver timely therapeutic services.
* Provide early‐years (0–5) early intervention and parent coaching, including speech sounds, early language, feeding, and school readiness.
* Support school‐aged children (5–18) with literacy, social communication, speech, language, fluency, voice, feeding, and AAC assessment and implementation.
* Assist adults with functional communication, speech, language, fluency, dysphagia and mealtime management, neuro‐degenerative diseases, stroke and acquired brain injury rehabilitation.
* Deliver neuro‐affirming supports to a large neuro‐divergent population across all age groups.

Qualifications
* Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia as a Speech Pathologist.
* Passion for collaboration in a multidisciplinary team.
* Desire to make a real difference within the community.
* Current full driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
