**Your new role **
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager your new role will have a wide variety of tasks and responsibilities, which will ensure a challenging and interesting role for an experienced Purchasing & Supply Supervisor, with a manufacturing background.
**You position will involve;**
- Overseeing and taking responsibility for all matters in supply and logistics
- With your negotiating skills you will organise frame contracts, renew and negotiate frequently in a systematic order all product related materials and all other goods and services
- Utilise your skills in ordering all product related materials and all other services and goods
- You will also liaise and negotiate with freight forwarders and receivers - including all international shipping
- Source new and alternative suppliers from Australia and overseas
- Reporting back to management on all aspects and concerns regarding purchasing together with recommendations for cost savings is an essential part of this role
**What you will need**
- Ideally you will be a recent graduate or ready to take the next step from a more junior position with similar responsibilities
- Experience with ERP software Pronto will be highly regarded but not essential
- The ability to read and work off plans is preferred but not essential
- You will have a mathematical and mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn

- Salary is $70k - $85k plus super depending on experience
